MarbleĀ and Granite Fabrication

After the color of your natural stone or quartz slabs have been selected. A fabricator of marble and granite will typically
- Template
- Saw or cut the stone
- Add an edge profile
- Drill Holes
- Add structural reinforcement
- Seal and fill if necessary
About 99% of the fabricating will be done at the fabricators workshop. After the fabrication process has been completed, then your new granite countertops will be ready for the installation process.
Our Indianapolis granite fabrication facility, was the first quartz and natural stone processing facility in the State of Indiana to implement CNC (computer numerically controlled) technology for the manufacturing of stone countertops. This equipment will help keep the price of granite countertops low.
Our Indianapolis marble and quartz workshop, offers high quality CNC routing and saw technology, computer aided bridge saw cutting and straight line edge polishing machines. All of our equipment was manufactured by Park Industries.
CNC equipment is vital to the fabrication of natural stone products. Without this high tec equipment, all of the granite fabrication would have to be done by hand. Hand fabrication is a slower process. Hand fabrication typically has a higher granite cost and is very inconsistent relative to other high-tech methods available on the market today.
